View calls that didn't happen or were cancelled
Overview
This page shows scheduled calls that either were missed (attempted but didn't connect) or were cancelled (intentionally called off). Helps track unsuccessful outreach attempts.
What You'll See
All calls with:
- Status: Missed or Cancelled
Table columns:
- Partner name
- Original scheduled date
- Status (missed/cancelled)
- Reason (if provided)
- Rescheduled info (if applicable)
Missed Calls
What Counts as Missed
- Called but partner didn't answer
- Called but wrong number
- Called but partner declined
- Attempted but technical issues
- Forgot to call and marked missed
Handling Missed Calls
When you miss a call:
- Mark status as "Missed"
- Add reason why missed
- Decide next action:
- Reschedule: Set new date/time
- Log attempt: Create communication log noting you tried
- Cancel: If no longer needed
Cancelled Calls
Reasons to Cancel
- Partner requested cancellation
- Campaign ended
- No longer relevant
- Partner relationship ended
- Duplicate call scheduled
- Timing no longer appropriate
Cancelling a Call
- Select the scheduled call
- Click Cancel
- Enter cancellation reason
- Save
Call moves to this view but remains in system for record-keeping.
Rescheduling
When a missed or cancelled call needs rescheduling:
- System can track it was rescheduled from original call
- Shows rescheduled reason
- Links old and new calls
- Maintains history
Search and Filter
- Filter by status (missed only, cancelled only, or both)
- Search partner name
- Filter by date range
- Filter by reason
- Filter by who scheduled originally
Analysis
Review missed/cancelled calls to:
- Identify partners hard to reach
- Find best times to call
- Assess scheduling accuracy
- Improve call success rates
- Spot patterns (always miss certain days/times)
Best Practices
For Missed Calls
- Always reschedule if still relevant
- Log the attempt in call history
- Note best time to try again
- Don't let them pile up - take action
For Cancelled Calls
- Document why cancelled
- Clear from upcoming queue promptly
- Keep record for accountability
- Don't delete - cancel instead
Cancelled and missed calls aren't deleted - they're kept for reporting and history. This helps track total outreach attempts, not just successes.
