View and log past communications with partners

Overview

Call History displays all past communications (calls, emails, meetings, SMS, etc.) with partners. This is your central log for tracking all outreach and interactions.

What You'll See

  • Partner name
  • Communication type (phone, email, SMS, meeting, video, letter)
  • Direction (inbound/outbound)
  • Date and duration
  • Subject and summary
  • Call outcome and disposition
  • Follow-up required status

Logging a Call

  1. Click Add Call or Log Communication
  2. Select partner
  3. Choose type (phone_call, email, sms, meeting, video_call, letter, other)
  4. Set direction (inbound/outbound)
  5. Enter date and duration
  6. Select outcome (completed, no_answer, voicemail, busy, etc.)
  7. Choose disposition (successful_contact, left_message, follow_up_needed, etc.)
  8. Add subject, summary, and details
  9. Mark follow-up required if needed
  10. Save

Call Outcomes

  • Completed: Successful conversation
  • No Answer: Didn't pick up
  • Voicemail: Left message
  • Busy: Line busy
  • Wrong Number: Incorrect contact
  • Callback Requested: Asked to call back
  • Declined: Refused call
  • Other: Other outcome

Call Dispositions

  • Successful Contact: Reached and spoke with partner
  • Left Message: Voicemail or message left
  • Follow-up Needed: Requires another call
  • Information Provided: Gave partner info
  • Complaint Resolved: Handled issue
  • Appointment Scheduled: Set meeting
  • Donation Discussed: Talked about giving
  • Prayer Request: Partner requested prayer
  • No Contact: Couldn't reach
  • Other: Other disposition

Search and Filter

  • Search by partner name
  • Filter by type
  • Filter by date range
  • Filter by outcome
  • Filter by follow-up required

Best Practices

  • Log Immediately: Record calls right after finishing
  • Be Detailed: Include key points discussed
  • Note Next Steps: Document follow-up actions
  • Mark Follow-Up: Flag if another call needed
  • Link to Campaign: Associate with campaigns when relevant
