Overview

The login page allows authorized users to access the Partners application using their email address and password. After successful authentication, users are redirected to the dashboard where they can manage partner information.

How to Sign In

Step-by-Step Login Process

  1. Navigate to Login Page

    • Go to partners.rhema.app/auth/login
    • Or click "Sign In" from the homepage
  2. Enter Your Email Address

    • Type your registered email address
    • Example: john.doe@rhemanigeria.com
    • Email is case-insensitive
  3. Enter Your Password

    • Type your password carefully
    • Password is case-sensitive
    • Click the eye icon to show/hide password
  4. Remember Me (Optional)

    • Check the box to stay logged in
    • Only use on personal devices
    • Extends session duration
  5. Click Sign In Button

    • Wait for authentication
    • Don't click multiple times
    • Loading indicator appears
  6. Access Dashboard

    • Automatic redirect after successful login
    • Dashboard page loads
    • Ready to work with partners

Login Page Features

Email Field

What to Enter:

  • Your registered work email
  • Full email address (user@domain.com)
  • No spaces before or after

Validation:

  • Must be valid email format
  • Required field (cannot be empty)
  • Checks if email exists in system

Common Mistakes:

  • Typos in email address
  • Using personal instead of work email
  • Missing @ or domain extension

Password Field

Password Visibility Toggle:

  • Eye icon on the right side
  • Click to show password text
  • Click again to hide password
  • Helps verify password before submitting

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 characters
  • Case-sensitive (Abc ≠ abc)
  • Must match password set during account activation

Security:

  • Dots or asterisks hide password
  • Not stored in browser history
  • Encrypted during transmission

Remember Me Option

What It Does:

  • Keeps you logged in for extended period
  • Skips login on return visits
  • Saves secure session token

When to Use:

  • ✅ On your personal computer
  • ✅ On your office workstation
  • ✅ When you're the only user
  • ❌ On shared computers
  • ❌ On public computers
  • ❌ When others might access device

How It Works:

  • Stores secure authentication token
  • Token expires after extended period
  • Can be cleared by logging out

Sign In Button

Button States:

  • Default: "Sign In" (ready to submit)
  • Loading: "Signing in..." with spinner (processing)
  • Disabled: Grayed out (during loading)

After Clicking:

  1. Form validates email and password
  2. Button shows loading state
  3. System checks credentials
  4. Success: Redirects to dashboard
  5. Failure: Shows error message

Common Login Scenarios

First Time Login (After Invitation)

Scenario: You just accepted an invitation and set your password

Steps:

  1. Go to login page
  2. Enter email from invitation
  3. Enter password you just created
  4. Click "Sign In"
  5. Access granted to dashboard

Note: Invitation links log you in automatically after activation, but you'll need these credentials for future logins.

Daily Login (Returning User)

Scenario: Regular staff member logging in for work

Steps:

  1. Open partners application
  2. Enter work email
  3. Enter password
  4. Check "Remember Me" if on personal device
  5. Click "Sign In"
  6. Start working

Tip: Bookmark the login page for quick access.

Login After Password Reset

Scenario: You recently changed your password

Steps:

  1. Go to login page
  2. Enter email address
  3. Enter NEW password (not old one)
  4. Click "Sign In"
  5. Access dashboard

Common Issue: Using old password instead of new one.

Login on New Device

Scenario: Accessing application from different computer

Steps:

  1. Navigate to login page
  2. Enter credentials
  3. DO NOT check "Remember Me" if shared device
  4. Sign in
  5. REMEMBER to sign out when done

Error Messages

"Invalid email address"

What It Means: Email format is incorrect

How to Fix:

  • Check for typos
  • Ensure @ symbol included
  • Verify domain extension (.com, .org, etc.)
  • Remove extra spaces

Example:

"Email is required"

What It Means: Email field is empty

How to Fix:

  • Type your email address
  • Don't leave field blank

"Password is required"

What It Means: Password field is empty

How to Fix:

  • Type your password
  • Don't leave field blank

"Password must be at least 6 characters"

What It Means: Password too short

How to Fix:

  • Enter your full password
  • Verify caps lock is not on
  • Check for typos

"Sign in failed" or "Invalid credentials"

What It Means: Email or password is incorrect

How to Fix:

  1. Double-check email spelling
  2. Verify password (check caps lock)
  3. Use password visibility toggle
  4. Try password reset if forgotten
  5. Contact administrator if account locked

Troubleshooting

Cannot Remember Password

Solution: Use the password reset feature

Steps:

  1. Click "Forgot your Password?" link
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check email for magic link
  4. Follow password reset process
  5. Return to login with new password

Account Not Activated Yet

Problem: Received invitation but haven't set password

Solution: Complete invitation acceptance first

Steps:

  1. Find invitation email
  2. Click invitation link
  3. Set your password
  4. Account activates automatically
  5. Then proceed to login

Login Button Disabled or Not Working

Possible Causes:

  • Email or password field empty
  • Form still validating
  • Already processing login request

Solutions:

  1. Ensure both fields filled
  2. Wait for validation
  3. Refresh page if stuck

Redirects to Wrong Page After Login

Problem: Not landing on dashboard after login

Possible Causes:

  • URL parameters
  • Browser cache

  1. Clear browser cache
  2. Try incognito/private window
  3. Navigate directly to dashboard
  4. Contact administrator if persistent

Keep Getting Logged Out

Problem: Session expires too quickly

  • Multiple tabs/windows open

Solutions:

  1. Check "Remember Me" option
  2. Adjust browser cookie settings

Password Security

Do:
